The Rogosin Institute (RI) is an independent not-for-profit medical care and research organization affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine. Rogosin is one of the premier centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country. Rogosin manages ten (10) dialysis centers in New York City providing care for 1,500 patients with end-stage kidney disease including about 15% by home dialysis. Our participation in innovative care models led to the development of our PEAK program to educate patients with advanced kidney disease which has led to 12.5% pre-emptive kidney transplant rate, 20% home dialysis rate and 60% optimal in-center dialysis starts. The Institute also treats patients with diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders and conducts research in these areas.
We currently have an opportunity for a Nephrologist who will provide urgent and chronic care to our patients. The Nephrologist will evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the standards of care, perform rounds at dialysis units and in the hospital, and provide consultations in both hospital and medical office settings.
