Government Business Division Operations Analyst REMOTE “At this time, Anthem will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.” Build the Possibilities. Make an extraordinary impact. Responsible for researching, analyzing, documenting, and coordinating the resolution of escalated and/or complex claims issues for the GBD local business that span across multiple operational areas and requires expert knowledge of all systems, tools, and processes. How you will make an impact: + Provide project team leadership and/or act as an operational expert/trainer within functional team. + May create, own, or update team desktop procedures and process documentation. + Research complex or multi-functional claims issues and identify root causes involving configuration, claims and/or contracting activities. + May engage directly with external customers, such as providers, by providing claims expertise and research outcomes. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of claims research and/or issue resolution or analysis of reimbursement methodologies within the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: + Facets experinence stronly preferred + Claims processing and claims appeals/rework experience preferred.
